Wedding ceremony during Coronavirus

Carole and I had the honor of covering a wedding over the corona virus. During these trying times, many couples are having to reschedule their wedding day for later in 2020 or into 2021 all together and some of those couples wind up having a small ceremony now with a reception later.

Rebekah and Issac are one of those couples. Not only did they have to reschedule the date into 2021, they also had the venue shut the doors on them, so they decided to get married at Mill Mountain Star.

Well, that turn out too well because the city of Roanoke closed the green way as well as the Star. So, a third location was found, Garst Mill Park in Roanoke county and thats where the couple got married.

One of the great things that we are offering is a live stream to our couples for 2020 and 2021, as we did for them. While its raw footage and unedited, it allowed family and friends to see the wedding in real time.

Carole, my wife and resident wedding photographer was on hand to help as their wedding photographer couldn’t cover the ceremony on such short notice.

Social distancing was the popular theme as everyone took a couple of arm lengths from each other to stand behind Carole and I during the ceremony. We had such a wonderful time taking care of the couples needs and can’t wait to help cover their wedding reception in 2021.
